A combo of DDR5 motherboard and CPU with a basic 6000MHz XMP memory kits seems to be a must-have as a boost-up configuration these days. With prices no longer unapproachable, I picked KingBank DDR5 7200MHz XMP Heatsink to have a test.

Wrapped in the typical KingBank package, it looked neat as usual.

Unbox and we can see that the memory kits are placed in a anti-static plastic support to give them a complete showout but strong protection amid the journey of delivery.

The modules feature a simple but stylish heatsink design in black with a polished surface atop holding the logo along with some bee-hive patterns and a matte-black texture below. Without the RGB lamp beads, the sticks will generate less heat, lower costing as well.

Look closer and we can see it labeling a capacity of 16GB at 7200MHz and a CL34.

With a neat and RGB-less design, these DDR5 7200 16G*2 memory modules could be a rather budget but strong pick for low-profile gamers.

My configuration, fiy, is B650 with 7800X3D. I've tried out 14600K and 14700K, and both were lame on overclocking. I matched them with AMD and I made it to 8000MHz.

The case is MSI MAG Forge 100R. You can also put on several cooling fans to add some RGB vibe.

As shown on Thaiphoon, we can see the modules use SK Hynix A-DIE chips as advocated.

The EXPO7200 profile shows a reading at 59053MB/S, writing at 87662MB/S, copying at 59673MB/S at a latency of 81ns.

After some tweaking, I overclocked the RAMs to 7800MHz, but only some minor progress was seen on speed boost. But the modules are actually rather stable since others have already failed to boot my PC after I tweaked them to 7800MHz.

Lending some extra tweaking, these KingBank DDR5 7200MHz 16G*2 memory sticks went up to 8000MHz in my AMD config,, which was already a magic to see. If you're looking for a budget but strong performance boost for your device, KingBank DDR5 7200MHz XMP Heatsink DRAM should be your first choice!
